Effective March 6, 2023, The North Chelmsford Water District will begin on-site investigation of water service lines in properties built prior to 1987 to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revisions 141.84. This Project aims to identify whether premise contain lead or galvanized water service lines leading up to and directly after the water meter; A complete water service line inventory must be summitted to The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Preotection (MassDEP) by October 16, 2024, if you received a notice, please contact our office to schedule an appointment.
