The District is in the process of fixing a water main break located at Groton Rd in front of the Senior Center. Customers in the surrounding area will experience temporary water service interruption while the break is being fixed.
Due to the nature of the work required to complete these repairs, tuberculation from the pipes in the water distribution system may be stirred up. After water service is restored, we will flush the hydrant(s) in the area to minimize the risk of your having discolored water, but you may still have some discoloration. We strongly encourage you to run your cold bathtub tap for several minutes after service is restored to flush out any remaining tuberculation.
